We understand how difficult it can be to find trustworthy help when looking for home-repair solutions. That’s why we’re going to walk you through our chimney repair and brick replacement selection process right here:

• Home inspection to determine era and brick type used.
• Identify mortar match by using one of our contemporary color charts and cross referencing our manufacturing stock.
• Determine perfect match by comparing stock from multiple manufacturers. (We take samples to supply yards to juxtapose brick against brick in our own hands –– pictures don’t do the real thing justice!)
• Let you inspect the brick yourself. If you don’t like it –– we don’t use it.

Poultice Creosote Remover (PCR)

Though you may not realize it, creosote could be building up within your chimney. For the uninformed, creosote is a substance made up of unburned gases –– typically the result of wood burning. What’s so bad about creosote, you ask? Well, in certain circumstances, creosote accumulations can cause dangerous chimney fires and flares. You mitigate your risk against creosote buildup though, by using high quality wood and burning it quickly. However in truth, creosote can gather in even the most well-kept chimneys. That’s why we use Poultice Cresote Remover (PCR) to completely eradicate creosote from within your flume. PCR works to absorb the harmful creosote and render it harmless, thus leaving your chimney safe and refinished. The entire process will take around 48 hours and upon completion, one of our team members will perform a professional inspection to ensure you and your family will never have to worry dangerous chimney fires threatening your home again.
